The goal

Mercado Libre is the leading eCommerce platform in Latin America. It is currently the main eCommerce in Venezuela.

One of the main challenges: to regain the trust of its customers, focusing on remembering that the brand was still in Venezuela with a responsible presence, being the safest and largest ecommerce in the country, with several official stores and the largest number of brands and categories.

The challenge

THE PROBLEM? Mercado Libre had become a kind of “yellow pages”. People mainly used this eCommerce to review offers and then buy at the right price on another platform and not necessarily by means of an eCommerce.

The solution

A complete funnel strategy was implemented. The first phase and objective was to generate Awareness. The campaign focused on regaining the trust of its customers, centering efforts on making the brand visible in Venezuela, demonstrating that Mercado Libre is a safe, large and reliable platform in the country with official stores and the largest number of brands and variety of product categories. Increase reach, with a first phase focused on our product.

Once the awareness and trust positioning objectives have been achieved, the recognition and intent phase follows until the third phase of Conversion is pushed more strongly.
